Question - Why does my amp shut off when I turn my subwoofers up to loud?

Answer- It could possibly be your power and grounds are not powering your amp enough due to0 the fact that your power and ground cables are to small and just cant get enough power to your amp. So when your subs hit loud notes they suck all the power from the amp forcing it to turn off for just moments then turn back on because your power and ground arent powering it good enough.
My suggestion would be to check the size of your power and ground and if there 8 gauge or smaller  (meaning 10-12 etc.) go and buy bigger gauge power and grounds
If you feel that you do have big enough power and ground cables then I would recommend you buying a capacitor. A capacitor acts like a short term battery for your amp, storing electricity for short periods of time. So when your busy bumping your system super loud and your amp needs some extra energy to power your subwoofers, then the capacitor will give your amp that extra juice it needs to push your subs.

Answer 2- If your subs turn off and it takes them a little while longer to turn back on, go to your trunk and feel your amp. If your amp feels really warm or hot, then check to see if there is a red light that is on anywhere on the side or front of it. If there is that means your amp is going into protection mode because your subwoofers are overheating it. The only solution to this that I am aware of is for you to go out and purchase a more powerful amp for your subwoofers

Question 2- How Can I bridge my subwoofers?

Answer- I know of two ways to bridge your amp to your subwoofers. The way that I have found best is to take your one negative wire and your one positive wire and connect it to one of your subwoofers, Then you connect another negative wire and another positive to the subwoofer with the wires in the amp connected to it and then connect the negative wire and positive wire that you connected to the subwoofer separately to your other subwoofer and you will get a lot more boom boom.

Question 3- How do I increase the Deepness of my bass?

Answer- The best set up that I have heard when it comes to deepness in your system, is to get one or two fifteen inch subwoofers with an inclosed box.

Basically the bigger in diameter your subwoofer, the deeper your base will be, so when you cant hear that one deep bass note with a ten inch subwoofer, you probably will be able to with a big fifteen inch subwoofer

Also the lower your amps frequency is, the more capable your subwoofer is of hitting that low note.

Question 4- How do I install my Subwoofer?

Answer- On your subwoofer you will see two terminals. One will probably be red meaning positive and one will be black or blue or white meaning negative. On your amp you will see the word "speaker" and that is where the wires from the amp run to your subwoofer. You will also see where you connect the speaker wires into the amp a positive and negative symbol. Run the positive wire to the positive terminal on your subwoofer and the negative wire to the negative terminal on your subwoofer.

Question 5- What hits harder, a twelve inch subwoofer, or a ten inch subwoofer?

Answer- This is a very popular question I get from friends and colleagues. You just have to remember that there are a lot of things that come into play, besides the actual sub, like your amp size, box size and whether its sealed or ported etc. But in general if you have a ten inch subwoofer and a twelve inch subwoofer the ten inch will hit harder, but in general the twelve inch will have deeper sound then a ten inch

Question 6- Can I bridge a mono amplifier?

Answer- No you cannot bridge a mono- channel amplifier because there is nothing to "bridge" inside of the amp. Whatever impedance load (subwoofer resistance/ohm)  that you hook to the amplifier is the actual load that it sees and the mono amplifier was not designed to change loads.
