Question 3- How do I increase the Deepness of my bass?
Answer- The best set up that I have heard when it comes to deepness in your system, is to
get one or two fifteen inch subwoofers with an inclosed box.
Basically
the bigger in diameter your subwoofer, the deeper your base will be, so when you cant hear that one deep bass note with a
ten inch subwoofer, you probably will be able to with a big fifteen inch subwoofer
Also the
lower your amps frequency is, the more capable your subwoofer is of hitting that low note.
Question 4- How do I install
my Subwoofer?
Answer- On your subwoofer you will see two terminals. One will probably be red meaning positive and one
will be black or blue or white meaning negative. On your amp you will see the word "speaker" and that is where the wires from
the amp run to your subwoofer. You will also see where you connect the speaker wires into the amp a positive and negative
symbol. Run the positive wire to the positive terminal on your subwoofer and the negative wire to the negative terminal on
your subwoofer.
Question 5- What hits harder,
a twelve inch subwoofer, or a ten inch subwoofer?
Answer- This is a very popular question I get from friends and colleagues. You just have to
remember that there are a lot of things that come into play, besides the actual sub, like your amp size, box size and whether
its sealed or ported etc. But in general if you have a ten inch subwoofer and a twelve inch subwoofer the ten inch will hit
harder, but in general the twelve inch will have deeper sound then a ten inch
Question 6- Can I bridge
a mono amplifier?
Answer- No you cannot bridge
a mono- channel amplifier because there is nothing to "bridge" inside of the amp. Whatever impedance load (subwoofer resistance/ohm)
that you hook to the amplifier is the actual load that it sees and the mono amplifier was not designed to change loads.
